Anything goes.

Times have apparently changed. Sure in olden days a bit of stocking would be considered shocking, but now God knows, Anything goes. Especially on TV after midnight.

The world has indeed gone mad. But me thinks that has happened long before today.
Still changes do happen whether we want them to or not. So instead of my olde change fearing ways I have decided not long ago that change will be welcomed. Even if scary.

But olde ways do not change easy. I'm hoping this new way of interacting with friends [internet and such] can help lead the way to those changes I actually want to happen. Of course they will happen in between those changes that scare the [insert four letter word of your choosing here] out of me. But pancakes can not be made without the breaking of eggs, which will lead to eggshells. Eggshells that can either be walked on, or put in the bin without a second thought.

I'm hoping to get to the part where I can do the bin throwing thing more.

Yeah this all does not make a lot of sense when written down. But it makes sense in my head. So at least that is a start eh?

My first ever Haiku.

I was about to post a question on "the eternal 1up FM mailbag thread over at 1up.com.
When I read the last post in the thread at that time. The poster had a back up question, (as a joke I'd guess) where he asked the 1up FM crew to write a 5-7-5 Haiku about the question: How do you satisfy a woman?

So I wrote this in a reply:

Heart of a woman.
Tender touch confidant kiss.
Will lead to love bliss.

I have no idea if it's any good. Mostly because I don't really understand what makes a haiku good or not. Maybe it's because the form does not translate well to western languges.

As far as I understand a Haiku in Japanese and in a western language are completly differnt things. Because of the differnce in grammar rules the 5-7-5 from makes no sense in western languages. You'd need a lot more cillables to write something that makes sense. That's the gist of what I understand about it anyway.

Ye olde poetry

Here are some old poems I wrote. Please excuse the bad punctuation and weird sentence structure where they may occur. I haven't really looked at them after I first wrote them down.

“Lighthouse.”

I wanna meet you some where in the future, where fate and coincidence meet.
I wanna see you the first time I see you,
and not look over you while you’re right under my feet.

With no compass, sailing for the shore. In this wide ocean called life.
I know the chances of this happening are about a million or five to one.
Still I know as long as there is this one chance along the millions hope will shine eternal with me.
As I hope hope will shine eternal in you.

Although I hope you’re not alone while the fates make us wait till we meet.
Because no one that will one day win my love deserves to be.

I hope you’ll enjoy the next sunny day.
And not let the ones that happen to have rain get in your way.
Make the rays your own.
And use the bright light to shine the lighthouse light to guide this boat I’m in to your shore.

"Memories"

Pictures fade but memories linger.
Create the world you want to live in,
Create the world you can breathe in.
Make this place more then it ever was.
But take caution when going on those journeys to places long gone.
Fore you may miss out on the journeys that await you in the here and now.

“Sirens Spell.”

Waiting for a Sirens spell.
To take the passion numbing every day.
Turn it's dull darkness into a festival of wonder and light.
May the Siren call suspend the endless tunnel of greyness.
Turn it's hope burning hell into a maze of color no one would want to escape.

Please be patient.

It will take a while before I figure this place out.
